Around here, when I say new race season, most people will think I am talking about NASCAR. But I actually mean the TV series, Amazing Race. I love the Amazing Race and won’t do anything on a Sunday night while the season is underway so I can watch each show each week. The first show in the new series was last Sunday night. I’m really looking forward to the second show this weekend.
I love Thursday nights for watching TV. Tonight is the first night of the new Survivor series. I can’t wait to see the new cast and what kind of eccentric characters they have lined up for the competition.
The different personalities are the best part of the show. They are just like the assortment of people who come on the lot to buy cars.
I had to look up an address on Google maps and when I zoomed in as far as it would go, it changed up on me! The map changed from the streets to more of a photograph of the buildings. It showed the buildings like I was right there, on the street looking at them instead from up above looking down like their other maps. Very cool!
My aunt says that she never thinks of me as ruthless. I say it’s been too long since she’s seen me! I am most definitely ruthless – ask any of the guys at my lot.
My dad called today and reminded me to back up my computer files. That was nice of him to think of me. He knows I don’t keep up very well with things like backing up my computer or getting the oil changed in my car. I wish there was an automatic reminder on the internet that would give me a heads up at the end of the day. Maybe they do have something like that, but I haven’t seen it anywhere. For now I have to count on my dad giving me a call with a friendly reminder.
