I know there must be a little Irish blood in me. My family is definitely from Europe, although I am mostly Scottish by my father’s side of the family. So maybe my mother is to blame for the red tint and pale skin with freckles that I inherited.
Anyways, today is St. Patrick’s Day and I’m going to claim to be a little bit Irish – like everybody else today!
Last night I had so much trouble logging into the free Yahoo Games that I decided to go and buy a game console and forget Yahoo. The problem has something to do with the Java script and I’m not a geek and I’m sick of the problems with Yahoo Games.
So this morning I went to GameStop and bought a Wii. The clerk was really helpful – he listened to me describe what kinds of games I like and he showed me demonstrations in the store of the 3 main consoles, and we decided together that the Wii would be best for me.
I bought the Wii and a couple of accessories (an extra controller and a controller skin) and two games, the Mario Smashup (for my nephew) and the Legend of Zelda (for me). I can’t wait to hook it up tonight and give it a try!
My cellphone lies to me. I stopped wearing a watch because I always have my cell phone with me and it shows the time on the liquid crystal display. So why wear a watch, too?
But my AT&T service (so-called “service”) must have someone asleep at the keyboard, because all day long my phone has shown the wrong time. We were supposed to change our clocks back this morning at 2:00 for this year’s Daylight Savings Time change. But my cell phone didn’t change. So all day long I have been off track as to what time it really it.
